Alfonso Barajas, MD, PhD, practices knee preservation and comprehensive hip care, including preservation (arthroscopic labral repair, periacetabular osteotomy) and minimally invasive direct anterior total hip arthroplasty. His knee practice has a particular focus on statistical models, patient-level prognostication, and patellofemoral instability. He serves as Research Chair for the Division of Sports Medicine, with a mission to provide patients with modern solutions to modern challenges, while ensuring that treatments are well-supported through evidence-based medicine and tailored, individualized treatment plans.
